DESIGN FOR EMBROIDERY-PATTERNS.
Spccifieat ion forming part of Design No. 7,894, dated November 24,1674; application filed November 7,1874. [Term of Patent 31} years CASE F.
To all whom it may concern:
30 it known that I, EMIL URISAND, of Xew Haven, in the county of New Haven and State of Uonnecticut, have invented a new Design for Embroidery-1.attern; and I do hereby do clnre the following, when taken in connection with the accompanying drawings and the letters of reference marked thereon, to be a full, clear, and exact description of the same, and which said drawings constitute part of this specification, and represent the design.
This invention relates to a design for einl1roidorv-pattern, intended especially for perfiirated board; and it consists in the peculiar configuration and ornamentation of the motto, as shown in the accompanying illustration.
The motto forming the base of the design is Simply to Thy Uross I Cling, the cross being illustrated by the figure of a cross. The
form of the letters composing the several words is clearly shown in the accompanying illustration, the capitals being the principal features in this part of the design.
The ornamentation of this design consists of a traeery of a floriated character, interwoven with the words and the figure ot' the cross, as clearly shown in the accompanying illustration.
