DESIGN FOR SPOON AND FORK HANDLES.
Specification forming part of Des gn No. 7,361, dated April 7, 1874 application filed March 14, 1874. [Term of Patent 7 years To all whom it may concern;
Be it known that I, JOHN H. GALAWAY, of the city, county, and State of New York, have invented a new and original Design for Spoon and Fork Handles; aml 1 do hereby declare the following to be a full, clear, aml exact description thereof, which will enable those skilled in the art to make the same, reference being had to the aeeom 'ianying drawings forming part of this specification, in which drawings- Figure 1 represents a face View of a spoonhandle ornamented and formed according to my design. Fig. 2 is a rear view of the same.

In the drawing, the letter A designates the handle of a spoon or fork, said handle being composed of two principal sections, VlZ., the finger-piece a and the shank I). Said fingerpieee joins the shank by converging curves 0, and its outer end is flarin g and provided with corners d, between which is situated an arabesque, c. A flat bead, f, extends along the edge of the finger-piece, both sides of which are ornamented alike, as shown in Figs. 1 and 2.
