CLARENCE A. TAPLIN, OF FORESTVILLE, CONNECTICUT, ASSIGUOR TO THE TAPLIN MANUFACTLTRING COMPANY, OF SAME PLACE.
DESIGN FOR A WINDQW-STOP ADJUSTER.
SPECIFICATION forming part of Design No. 28,857, dated June 14, 1898.
Application filed May 18 1898. Serial No. 681,081. Term of patent 14 years To all whom it may concern.-
Be it known that I, CLARENCE A. TAPLIN, a citizen of the United States, residing at Forestville, in the county of Hartford and State of Connecticut, have invented and produced a new and original Design for a \Vindow-Stop Adjuster, of which the following is a specification, reference being had to the accompanying drawings, in which- Figure 1 is an isometrieal perspective of a window-stop adjuster, showing my design; and Fig. 2 is a sectional View thereof on the line a: as of Fig. 1.
The leading feature of my design consists of the raised bead on the bottom, which borders the oval slot therein.
A is the outer rim of an annular form in plan \lOW and rounded on its outer or front face, as at 3, while the under or back side is flat. The cylindrical body portion depends from the inner edge of the rim A and has straight sides B, that merge into the fiat bottom C, with a rounded corner r. The said bottom is perforated by an oval or roundended oblong hole 5, and surrounding said rounded oblong hole on the outside of the bottom is a border-bead 6, giving the complete device an increased depth and a generally pleasing eifeet, all as shown.
