DESIGN FOR A WATCHCASE.

SPECIFICATION forming part of Design No. 27,009, dated May 4, 1897.

Application filed A ril 3, 1397. Serial No. 630.652- Term of patent '7 years.

To all whom it may concern:

Be it; known that 1, CHARLES L. DEPoLLIER, a citizen of the United States, and a resident of Brooklyn, in the county of Kings and State of New York, have invented and produced a new and original Design for \Vatehcases, of which the following is a specification, reference beinghad to the accompanying drawings, in which- Figure l. is a side view of a watchease having my design applied thereto. Fig. 2 is a sectional view taken on the line 2 2 of Fig. 1.

The leading feature of my design consists of a ring or circle applied to the back or lid and eccentric with the periphcryor outer circle of said lid.

A is the back or lid of the watchease, and

B the pendant, locaied at am desired point. 011 the back or lid A is the ring or circle 0, eccentric with the outer edge or periphery of said lid, but not meeting with or merging into the latter at any point, a space of varying width being left entirely around said circle or ring C and between the latter and outer edge of the back or lid, as shown in Fig. 1.

Having fully described my invention, what I desire to secure by Design Letters Patent The design for a walchcasc herein shown and described.
