This invention relates to a new and original design for a kettle-cover; and it has for its object to provide a design of this character that shall be both useful and ornamental. The leading feature of the design resides in an approximately fiat circular body formed at diametrically opposite edges with duplicate offset narrow ears spaced their entire lengths from the pcripheraledge of the body and having their terminals disposed in the same direction.
A minor feature of the design resides in forming one half of the body of a smaller diameter than the other half and extending the peripheral edge of the larger half so as to overlap the corresponding edge of the smaller half to produce the narrow ears.
In the drawings, Figure 1 is a perspective view of a kettle-cover embodying the hereindeseribed design. Fig. 2 is a plan view thereof. Fig. 3 is a cross-sectional View of the con- 1 Fig. 4

Referring to the drawings, the numeral 1 designates a circular body, one half of which half, the separaiehalves being designated by the numerals 2 and 3, respectively. The peripheral edge of the larger half 3 of the flatcircular body 1 is extended to produce narrow ears 4, which are spaced their entire lengths from the peripheral edge of the half 2 of the body concentric with the latter and have their terminals disposed in the same direction.
\Vhile in Figs. 1 and 2 the body of the cover is shown entirely fiat, in Fig. i of the drawings is illustrated a form of cover embodying the design and having a main dished portion and a peripheral flange or rim.
