UNITED STATES PATENT OFFICE.
CHARLES L. DEPOLLIER, OF BROOKLYN, NEW YORK, ASSIGNOR TO DUBOIS WATCH-CASE COMPANY, OF BROOKLYN, NEW YORK, A CORPORATION OF NEW YORK.
DESIGN FOR A WATCHCASE.
SPECIFICATION fohning part of Design No. 35,740, dated February 123, i962.
Application filed December 19, 1901. Serial No 86,618. Term of patient 7 years.
To all whom it may concern:
Be it known that I, CHARLES L. DEPOLLIER, a citizen of the United States, residing at New York, borough of Brooklyn, county of Kings, and State of New York, have invented and produced a new and original Design for Watchcases, of which the following is a specification, reference being had to the accompanying drawings, forming a part thereof.
Figure 1 is a plan view, on an enlarged scale, of a watchcase, showing my new design. Fig. 2 is a vertical sectional view taken on the line 2 2 of Fig. 1.
As shown in the drawings, the leading or material feature of my design consists of curved lines, the circles of which said lines are arcs being eccentric to the circular outline of the watchcase, the centers of said circles being themselves in a circle having the point I) for its center.
Referring to the drawings, it will be seen that the watchcase has a circular outline and is ornamented with the curved lines a, the several circles of which said lines a form arcs being eccentric to that of the circular out line of the case, the centers of said circles being in a circle havingthe point b forits center.
The case is also decorated with a shield or scroll c, eccentrically located and from which the lines a radiate.
Having described my invention, what I claim as new, and desire to secure by Letters Patent, is
The design for a watchcase, substantially as herein shown and described.
Signed at New York, in the county of New York and State of New York, this 16th day of December, A. D. 1901.
CHARLES L. DEPOLLIER.
