DESIGN FOR STOVE-PLATES.
The Schedule referred to in these Letters Patent and making part of the same.
To all whomit may concern:
Be it known that I, GEORGE W'. EDDY, of Taterford, in the county of Saratoga and State of New York, have invented and produced certain new and original features in Designs for Stove-Plates, of which the following is a specification, reference being had to the accompanying photographic representation of a cooking-stove, having my said new design.
One new feature of my said design is a raised star, A, shaped and arranged upon the middle portion of, and cast with a swelling panel-surface, B, on a door or doors, or a plate or plates of a stove, so as toappear substantially as represented in and by the aforesaid photograph.
Another new feature of my design is the star A arranged on a panel-surface, B, when the latter is surrounded by a row of bead-like project-ions, O, and an outer molding, D, with or without au intervening molding E, and plane surface F, as shown in the aforesaid photographic representation.
lVhat I claim as my invent-ion, and desire to secure by Letters Patent, is-
1. A star A, shaped and arranged upon, and cast with a swelling-panel, B, and forming part of a stoveplate, as herein described and shown.
2. The combination of a star, A, panel-surface, B, beads O, and border-molding D, with or without an intervening molding, E, and plane-surface F, all shaped and arranged together, and cast with a plate or plates of a stove, substantially as shown and described.
