DESIGN FOR A KEY.
The Schedule referred to in these Letters Patent and making part of the same.
To all whom it 'may concern:
Be it known that I, EMERY PARKER, of New Britain, in the county of Hartford, and Stute of Connecticut, hnve orgnatedn new Design for a. Door- Key; and I do hereby declare that the following specification, taken in connection with the dmwings, marking n. part of the seme, is a full, clear, and exact description thereof.
Figure 1 is a side View.
Figure 2 is an edge view.
Letters Patent for the invention exhibited in the manner of constructing a. key, in appearance like thnt shown in the drawings, were heretofore granted to me, on the 4th day of Mey, A. D. 1869.
The present patent relates only to the design of such key.
A is the shank, and B the bow of the key; both of which are nt, :md may he made from sheetmetal.
Gis n round wire stem, to which the bit a is attached, and such stem is connected with the shank A by any suitable mode of construction.
The article exhibits, when completed, the peculiarity of a. cylindrical ste-m and a. fist shank and bow.
What I claim as my invention, and desire to secure by Letters Patent, is-
The new design for '.t key herein described and shown in the drawings.
