Be it known that I, THOMAS R. BEARSE, of Taunton, iu the county of Bristol, and State of Massachusetts, have invented a new and improved Design for a Tank-Head and I d0 hereby declare that the follown is a full, clear, and exact description thereof, which will enable others skilled in the art to make and use the same, reference being had to the accompanying drawings, forming part of this specification, in which the figure is a perspective View of a tack illnstrating my design.

My invention has for its object to furnish an iinprored design for the heads of tacks, nails, 850.; and

It consists in the design herein shown and described.

A is the body of the tack, which may be made with a tack-point or with a nail-point, according to the purpose for which it is to be used.

B is the head of the taek, which is made circular in its general form, and the upper surface of which is struck up into the form of a series of four segments ot' Witnesses: H
