(Application filed Jan. 27, 1902.)

To (all, whom it may concern:
Be it known that I, PAUL PAUSE, a citizen of the United States, residing at Chicago, in the county of Cook and State of Illinois, have invented and produced a new and original Design for Lamps, of which the following is a specification, reference being had to the accompanying drawings, forming part thereof.
Figure 1 is a view in side elevation ofa lamp, showing my new design; and Fig. 2 is a top plan view thereof, showing a portion of the top broken away to disclose the openings in the bottom of the lamp.
As shown in the drawings, the leading or material feature of my design consists of a body A, substantially triangular in shape when viewed from the top or bottom and provided with circular openings a on each of its sides. The upper central portion of the body is fiat and is formed with a cylindrical and upward extension I), which extension has a cone-shaped cap or portion 0 on its top. The upper portion of the body is downwardly curved, as at a, at each of its angles.
The central portion of the bottom B of the body is flat and is formed with a number of openings d. (See Fig. 2 of the drawings.)
The lower portion of the body is curved 11pwardly, as at e, in each of its angles. The rims of the openings a are each formed with a series of bead-like projections c, which extend entirely around said rims. Within each of the openings at is an OllhWZtldlY-COHVOXGG piece E of glass.
Having described my invention, what I claim as new, and desire to secure by Letters Patent, is-
The design for a lamp, substantially as herein shown and described.
