DESIGN FOR A MAlL-PACKER.
SPECIFICATION forming part of Design No. 26,293, dated November 17', 1896.
Application filed September 28 1896. Serial No. 607,268. Term of patent 14 years.
lle It known that I, llnxnr E. \VAI'IE, of Newton, in the eount'yof Middlesex and State of Massachusetts, have invented a certain new and original Design fora Mail-Packer, of which the following is a specification.
This invention relates to a new and original design for a until-packer; and it consists in the novel features of shape and configuration hereinafter fully described and particularly claimed, and clearly illustrated in the d raw i n gs.
Reference is to he had to the accompanying drawings, and to the letters marked thereon, forming a, part of this specification, the same letters designating the same parts or features, as the case may be, wherever they occur.
()f the drawings, Figure 1 is a plan view of a mail-packer, showing my design. Fig. 2 is a perspective View of the same inverted.
The leading feature of my design consists of the surface having an outline that is partially circular and partially broken or reccssed.
is the center of the packer, which has a flat surface with an outline that is circular, as at 1, straight, as at c', and t-ur\ed,:1satr(. The under surface of the packer has a depending rim c, conforming in outline to the outline of the packer, the inner edge of the rim being curved atf.
I claim-- The design for a packer substantially as shown and described.
