UNITE STATES PATENT OFFICE.
WELLS R. YOUNG, OF GLOVERSVILLE, NEW YORK.
DESIGN FOR A GLOVE.
SPECIFICATION forming part of Design Roi 35,308, dated November 19, 1901.
Application filed September 25, 1901. $erial No- 76,580. Term ofpatent 7 yearsv To all whom it may concern.-
Be it known that I, WELLS R, YOUNG, residing at Gloversville, in the county of Fulton and State of New York, have invented and produced a certain new and useful Design for Gloves, of which the following is a specification, reference being had therein to the accompanying drawings.
My invention is a design for gloves; and it consists in the shape or configuration of such articles and in the ornamentation thereof by the location of the buttons and by the stitching worked into such article of manufacture.
Figure l is a plan of the glove buttoned. Fig. 2 is a plan of the glove with the flap thrown back at one side.
The body of the glove A is in the main of the usual form shown, having the Wristopening a, and button a, which closes over the stud a The top of the body is curved, as shown in Figs. 1 and 2. The wrist-piece B is formed in general on two concentric curves a b and 0 cl, the line b 02 being substantially a radial line to both curves, and the line a c nearly a tangent to the inner curve a b, as shown. The wrist-piece B is attached to the body so as to show a curved line of stitchesf along the seam. The outside of the wrist-piece, which forms the flap, shows a curved line of stitches 9 parallel with the curved edge of the wrist-piece. The stud e is attached to the wrist-piece in the position shown and is covered by the ornamental button E, attaohed to the Wrist-piece near its corner, when the wrist-piece has its flap turned to closed position, as in Fig. 1.
What I claim is- The design for a glove, as shown and described.
In testimony whereof I affix my signature in presence of two Witnesses.
WELLS R. YOUNG.
