UNITED STATES PATENT OFFICE.
LOUIS SANDERS, OF BROOKLYN, NEW YORK.
DESIGN FOR A BELT.
SPECIFICATION forming part of Design No. 34,769, dated July 9, 1901.
Application filed May 7,1901. Serial No. 59,189. Term of patent 3% years.
To all whom it may concern:
Be it known that 1, Louis SANDERS, a citizen of the United States, and a resident of the ity of New York, borough of Brooklyn, in
5 the county of Kings and State of New York,
have invented and produced a new and original Design for a Belt, of which the following is a specification, reference being had to the accompanying drawing, forming a part there- [0 of, in which is represented a plan view of a belt embodying the features of my design.
The design consists of a flat body, outwardly-projected longitudinal series of crescent-shaped loops on the outer face of the :5 body between its longitudinal edges, and longitudinal strips passing through the said loops. The loops of the upper and lower se- The loops of the upper and lower series are a distance apart equal to the width of the intermediate loops, so that the edges of the said intermediate loops contact with the edges of two adjacent loops of the upper and lower series. The loops and longitudinal strips terminate short of the ends of the body, and a plain marginal surface appears between the loops and strips and the side edges of the body.
Having thus described my invention, I claim as new and desire to secure by Letters Patent- The design for the belt herein shown and described.
In testimony whereof I have signed my name to this specification in the presence of two subscribing witnesses.
LOUIS SANDERS.
