DESIGN FOR A GEM-SETTING.
SPECIFICATION forming part of Design No. 33,768, dated Deceniber 25, 1960. Application filed November 22, 1900- Serial No. 37,405- Term of patent 7 years.
To (all whom it ntrty concern:
Be it known that I, GERHARDT G. M. F. HARTMANN, a citizen of the United States, and a resident of the city of New York, borough of Manhattan, in the county and State of New York, have invented and produced a new and original Design for a Gem-Setting, of which the following is a specification, reference being had to the accompanyingdrawings, forming a )art thereof, in Which- Figure] is a plan view of a gem-setting enibodying the features of my design, and Fig. 2 is a side elevation of the same.
The leading features of the design consist in the border A, havi ng two parallel long side members and two parallel end members, together with chains B of bead-like figures appearing within the border, the chains of beads being parallel with each other and parallel with the side members of the border.
The minor features of the design consist in the globular and irregular contour of the various beads and in the extension of the beads beyond the upper edges of the border.
Having thus described my invention, I claim as new and desire to secure by Letters Patent- The design for a gem-setting herein shown and described.
In testimony whereof I have signed my name to this specification in the presence of two subscribing witnesses.
