The design consists of the combination of two square blocks of the same size, but showing difierent figures, and placed so that similar blocks touch at the corners. The center h'thus has a cruciform shape with very short arms. The other block B has an outer margin of square blocks 2', equaling in width the two bands ab, two narrow bands 7C1, similar to the bands a b, a wider band m, then two narrow bands 'n 0, similar to is Z, and a square center 19. These blocks A B are so grouped that they alternate with one another, the corners of similar blocks touching.
