To all whom, it wtay concern:
I Be it known that I, MARY L. SHERIN, a citizen of the United States, residing at the city of New York, in the county of New York and State of New York, have invented and produced a certain new and original Design for a Girdle, of which the following is a specification.
This invention relates to a design for a girdle.
The design is fully illustrated in the accompanying drawings, forminga part of this specification, in which Figure 1 is a plan view of a girdle embodying the features of my design when extended or spread out fiat. Fig. 2 is a front perspective view of a girdle embodying the features of my design.
As shown in the drawings, the leading or material features of my design consist of the hands A A A, and groups of cross-ribs B. The bands A A are slightly larger than the band A, which gives the girdle a slightlyflaring shape. Extending diagonally across the group of cross-stays B at each end of the girdle are the stays C. At each end of the girdle are pieces or stays D. The stays D are provided at suitable intervals with eyelets.
Having thus described my invention, what I claim as new,and desire to secure by Letters Patent, is-
The design for a girdle,as herein shown and described.
In witness whereof I have hereunto set my hand and seal in the presence of two witnesses.
