SPECIFICATION forming part of Design No. 33,850, dated January 8, 1901.
Application filed December l0l 1900. Serial No. 39,443. Term of patent '7 years.
To @ZZ whom it puny oon/cern,.-
Be it known that. I, HENETETTA STERNEELD, a citizen of the United States, residing in the city and county of Philadelphia,State of Pennsylvania, have invented and produced a new and original Design for a Connecting-Piece for a Shoulder-Brace or Pair of Suspenders, of which the following is a specification, reference being had to the accompanying drawings, forming part thereof.
The leading feature of my design for a con` necting-piece for a shoulder-brace or pair of Suspenders is a body with wings radiating therefrom, the several wings having reduced necks and swells on their sides, extending from said necks to the outer terminals of the Wings.
. Figure l represents a face View of a shoulder-brace or suspender embodying my design. Fig. 2 represents a section thereof on line Fig. l.
In the drawings, A designates a connecting-piece for the upper and lower straps of a shoulder-brace or pair of Suspenders, the same consisting of the body B and the wings C, the latter radiating from said body, the several wings having reduced necks at their inner ends, where they are conuent. The ends of the wings are right-lined, as at D, and the portions of the sides of the wings are swelled, as at E, the swells being on each Wing and extending from the necks to the outer terminals of the wings. On the faces of the wings are representations of intersecting curves.
Having thus described lnyinvention, what I claim as new, and desire to secure by Letters Patent', is-
The design for a counectingpiece for a shoulder-brace or pair of Suspenders substantially as shown and described.
HENRIETTA STERNFELD.
