DESIGN FOR A PICKER-TOOTH.

Beit known that I, ROBERT Ross KAYLOR, a citizen of the United States, residing at Franklin, in the county of Venango and State of Pennsylvania,have invented and produced a new and original Design for a Picker-Tooth; and I do hereby declare the following to be a full, clear, and exact description of the invention, such as will enable others skilled in the art to which it appertains to make and use the same.
My invention relates to a new and original design for a picker-tooth to be used in connection with machines for picking,separating, and threshing fibrous materials and grain and the design consists of the essential characteristics substantially shown in the accompanyingdrawings and hereinafter more specifically described.
Y In the accompanying drawings,which illustrate my design, Figure l is a side elevation of my picker-tooth. Fig. 2 is an end view looking to the left in Fig. l.
The leading feature of my design consists in the peculiar shape of the picker -tooth, which has an enlarged approximately central portion of the general contour of a pair of inverted cones placed base to base.
l designates the line of greatest circnm ference and is approximately the central portion of my picker-tooth, from which point it tapers gradually toward one end, as represented at 2, and tapers in the opposite direction, as shown at 3, for a short distance, when it assumes the form of the cylindrical portion 4, screw-threaded, as designated at 5, the Whole eiect presenting to the eye the design, shape, and configuration of a pair of oppositely-disposed truncated cones placed base to base, one of which cones terminates in acylindrical portion provided with ascrewthreaded end.
What I claim is- The design for a picker tooth for use in connection with machines for picking, separating and threshing brous materials and grain or for similar purposes, substantially as herein shown and described.
