UNITED STATES PATENT OFFICE.
EI'HN'ARD B. EIClIOLlZ, OF ST. LOUIS, MISSOURI.
DESIGN FOR A DOOR-SECURER.
SPECIFICATION forming part of Design No. 33,425, dated October 23, 1900.
Application filed August 23, 1899. Serial No. 728,244. Term of patent 7 years.
To all whlmt it 11mg concern:
3e it known that I, EDWARD l3. EIUHOLTZ, a citizen of the United States, residing at St. Louis, in the State of Missouri, have invented and produced a new and original Design for Door-Securers, of which the following is a specification, reference being had to the accompanying drawings, forming part thereof.
Figure 1 is a plan View of a lock, showing my design. Fig. 2 is an edge view of my design.
As shown in the drawii'lgs, my design consists of a base d, upon the upper face of which and at one end is a cylinder 71. The base d is rectangular in shape and tapers slightly in its width toward its outer extremity, which said extremity is turned downwardly at right angles, the down wardly-tu rned portion being tapered toatransverse edge e. The lower face of the base, with the exception of the downturned end, continues in the same plane throughout its entire length. Upon the up per face of the base is the cylindrical portion a, the under side of which connects with the upper face of the base (i and is perfectly flat and unbroken. The sides of the cylindrical portion CL are perfectly smooth and possess no perforations or other irregularities. The upper face of the cylindrical portion is also perfectly smooth; but this face is not parallel to the long diameter of the base (Z, as is the under face, but instead it lies at an acute angle thereto.
Having thus described my invention, what I claim is The design for a door-securer as herein shown and described.
EDWARD B. EICHOLTZ.
