This invention relates to a new and original design for hooks; and it is embodied in the form, arrangement, and conliguratiou represented in the accompanying drawings and x5 hereinafter described.
In the drawings, Figure l is a side elevation Of the hook and Fig. 2 is a front edge View.
The shank A terminates at its lower end in 2o an eye l and is somewhat enlarged at its up per end, as shown, at, which point the hook portion branches laterally and is curved upwardly aud thence forwardly, Inperingsoinewhat, as at C. rlhe end of the hook portion 25 proper lies slightly beyond the pinne of the shank. 'lhe essential features of the design, as shown and described, reside more particu- 35 larly in the upper portion of the hook, iucluding those features representing bhe hook proper and the outwardly-arranged projeclon, with its pecuiiarly-fashioned wall.
