DESIGN FOR A CORNER-IRON FOR BED-FRAMES.
SPECIFICATION forming part of Design No. 32,886, dated June 26, 1900. Application filed May 16, 1900. Serial No.16,934. Term ofpatent 7 years.
To all whom it may concern:
Be it known that I, FRANK TROUNSTINE, a citizen of the United States, residing in the city, county, and State of New York, have invented and produced a new and original Design for a Corner-Iron for Bed-Frames, of which the following is a specification, reference being had to the accompanying drawings, forming a part hereof, and in which like letters refer to like parts in each figure thereof.
In the said drawings, Figure 1 is a front view of a corner-iron embodying my design. Fig. 2 is a three-quarter back View of the same. Fig. 3 is an under side view of the same.
The rectangular frame A has a lip 0r flange A, caused by the extension of one of its sides beyond the others, and is provided at one side with a flange B, of triangular shape, connected to the lower edge of the said frame by webs or flanges B. The lower edge of the front side of the frame is cut upwardly in approximately semicircular form and has a projection O of the same form proceeding therefrom, while at the back the lower edge of the side is provided with a semicircular depend ing lip E. A horizontal partition D, provided with an aperture D", is located near the bottom of the frame A.
That I claim is The design for a corner-iron for bed-frames substantially as herein shown and described.
