DESIGN FOR A BABY-COMFORTER.
SPECIFICATION formingpart of Design No. 33,212, dated September 18, 1900;
Application filed July 18, 1900. Seriii} No. 24,111. Term of patent 14 years.
To a whom it may concern:
Be it known that LCHRISTIANW. MEINECKE, a citizen of the United States, and a resident of Jersey City, in the county of Hudson and State of New Jersey, have invented and produced a new and original Design for a Baby Comforter, of'which the following is a. specitic-etion.
The design relates to the articles known as bnby-comforters; and the feature of the design consistsin the nipple, the base of which is below a shield, and said base of the nipple below the shield has an annular rib formeiion at the upper end of a pad, the nipple apparently constituting a portion of the pad. The pad has flat front and rear faces and edges formed upon the lines of compound curves.
In the accompanying drawings Figure 1 represents a perspective view of a baby-comforter embodying the features of my design,
and Fig. 2 is a transverse section through the pad.
The nipple A is shown with an enlargement a, just above the shield B, which is of disk shape, and a further enlargement or rib a appears in the nipple just below the shield B. The pad C is shown with a. rounded bottom, flat front and rear faces, and side edges defined by compound curves.
Having thus described my invention, I claim as new and desire to secure by Letters Patient-- The design for a baby-comforter herein shown and described.
In testimony whereof I have signed my name to this specificntion'in the presence of two subscribing witnesses.
CHRISTIAN V. MEINEUKE.
