SPECIFICATION forming part of Design No. 32,667, dated May 15, 1900- Application filed September 28, 1899. Serial N 731,984. Term of patent 7 years,
T0 al whom, it may concern:
Be it known that I, AMos A. CUSHMAN, a citizen of the United States, residing at Mansfield, in the county of Richland and State of Ohio, have invented and produced a new and original Design for Furnace-Bodies, of which the following is a specification, reference being had to the accompanying drawings, forming part thereof.
Figure 1 is a perspective view. end view.
As shown in the drawings, the leading or material feature of my design consists in the series of inclined chambers arranged in the form of a W and an enlarged chamber located at one end and a plate located at one end of the enlarged chamber.
In the accompanyingdrawings, 1, 3, il, and 4 represent the W portions of the frame and are provided with rectangular sides 5, which sides are connected together at the meetingpoints G. The top or upper end of the W portion 1 is provided with the plain top 7, which plain top is arranged as shown. Above the meeting-point of the W portions 2 and 3 is located the plain surface 9. The bottom or lower portions of 'the sections l and 3 are Fig. 2 is an provided with the outward lateral-extending curved flanges 10, said flanges being of the form shown in the drawings. The bottom or lower portions of the sections land 2 are provided with the flanges 1l, which flanges are tapered or provided with the inclined sides 12. The enlarged portion or chamber 13 is provided with the curved tcp 14 and the straight bottom 15. The plate 16 is provided with the parallel and vertical edges 17 and thc rectangular openings 18 and 19, said plate being substantall);Y of the forni shown in the drawings, and as Shown its top or upper end is provided with the straight edge portions 2O and the curved center 2l.
Having fully described my invention, what I claim as new, and desire to secure by Letters Patent, is-
The design for a furnace-body, substantially as shown and described.
