DESIGN FOR A PILLOW-BLOCK.
SPECIFICATION forming part Of Design NO. 32,592, dated April 24, 1900.
Application filed March 19, 1900. Serial No. 9,340. Term of patent 14 years.
To all whom it may concern.-
Be it known that I, ANTONIO C. PESSANO, of the city and county of Philadelphia, in the State of Pennsylvania, have invented a new and original Design for Pillow Blocks, of which the following is a specification.
My new and original design for pillowblocks is shown in the accompanying drawings, in which Figure 1 is a perspective view of a pillowblcck embodying the design, and Fig. 2 is a front view of the same on a reduced scale.
From a flat base A rises an arched frame B, terminating at the top in a flattened head or boss b. On the outer faces of the sides 0 c of the arched frame are longitudinal ribs H H, terminating at the top in flattened heads h h. Small connecting-ribs d d, centrally disposed on the outer surface of the arched frame, extend from the heads h h to the top boss b.
Upon the base A, on each side beyond the arched frame B, are bosses u.
The essential feat n res of the design consist of the flat base A, carrying the arched frame 13, terminatingin the head or boss I) and having the longitudinal ribs II II on the outer faces of the sides of the arched frame terminating in fiat heads 71 h.
\Vhat I claim as new, and desire to secure by Letters Patent, is as follows:
The design for a pillow-block substantially as described and as shown in the accompanying drawings.
In testimony of which invention l have hereunto set my hand.
