Description

UNITED STATES PATENT OFFICE.
OLE A. MICKELSON, OF FOSSTON, MINNESOTA, ASSIGNOR OF FIVE-SIXTIIS TO SEVERIN N. SORENSEN, OF SAME PLACE.
DESIGN FOR A FAN-CHAMBER AND STRAW-RECEIVER.
SPECIFICATION forming part of Design No. 32,447, dated April B, 1900. Application filed January 16, 1900. Serial No. 1,692. Term of patent 14 years.
To @ZZ whom it may concern.-
Be it known that I, OLE A. MICKELsoN, a citizen of the United States of America, residing at Fosston, in the county of Polk and State of Minnesota, have invented a certain new and useful Design for a Fan-Chamber and Straw- Receiver, of which the following is a specification, reference being had therein to the accompanying drawings.
This invention relates to certain new and original designs in a fan-chamber and strawreceiver; and the invention resides in the novel configuration and outline of the fanchamber and straw-receiver, as will be hereinafter described in detail.
In describing the invention reference is had to the accompanying drawings, wherein- Figure l illustrates a perspective View of my design. Fig. 2 illustrates a top plan view thereof, and Fig. 3 illustrates a side View.
As shown in the drawings, the leading feature of my design consists in the concentric chamber l, terminating in the eccentric spout 2, with the one side of the chamber l gradually curved toward the opposite side, as at 3, and terminating at the point of lesser width at its intersection with the spout. The sides of this spout are at a slight angle to the sides of the chamber, and one of the sides of the chamber has the raised portions or ribs l l thereon. The spout on two of its sides extends beyond the other two of said sides, as at 5, the said spout being substantially square in cross-section and comm u nioating with the chamber.
The ribbed side of the chamber-wall is provided with the concentric opening G, and the curved side with the larger opening 7 of irregular circumference owing to the curvature of said side.
Having fully described my invention, what I claim as new and original, and desire to sccure by Letters Patent, is
The design for a fan-chamber and straw-receiver, substantially as herein shown and dcscribed.
In testimony whereof I affix my signature in the presence of two witnesses.
OLE A. MICKELSON.
