DESIGN FOR A KITCHEN-CABINET.

SPECIFICATION forming part of Design No. 31,650, dated October 10, 1899.

Application filed June 21,1899. Serial No. 721,385- Term of 1mm? 7 yrar lie it known that LWILLIAM H. TllAUllUlfl, a citizen of the United States, residing at llerkimenin the countyof llerkirner and State of New York, have invented a new and original Design for Kitchen-Cabinets, of which the following is a specification, reference being, had to the accompanying drawing, forming part thereof, and in which similar letters refer to similar parts.

As shown in the drawing, A represenls the l upper portion of the cabinet, having a pan cled front,the upper panels a being the frou ts 5 of two doors of a cupboard, the panels I) be- 3 ing the fronts of a horizontal row ofdrawers l located below the said doors, the panels 0 1 being the fronts of two drawers situated below the said horizontal row of drawers, one l at each end thereof. The panels (1' represent i four brackets, two of which are arranged in the corners between the upper and lower l drawers, and the other two in the corners bel tween the lower drawers and the side pieces, hereinafter mentioned.

E represents the base or lower portion of the cabinet and which is substantially rectangular in shape. Between the said upper and lower portions of the cabinet are two side pieces, having their front edges curved.

By reference to the: drawing it will be seen that the upper portion is about half as deep as the lower portion. The lower portion of the cabinet is provided with a paneled front, the upper panel c representing the front of a sliding bread-limrd and the central panels the fronts of three drawers arranged one above the other. The panelsj' represent the fronts of two llounbins, said flour-bins being located one on each side of the said central drawers.

The essential features of my design consist of a kitchen-cabinet having one upper and one lower portion, the upper portion being of about half the depth of the lower portion and provided at its front with two upper panels, representing the fronts of two doors, and a horizontal row of panels representing the fronts of drawers located below the said doors, the lower portion of the cabinet being substantially rectangular in shape and provided at its front with one upper panel, representing the front of a sliding bread-board, three central panels representing the fronts of three drawers arranged one above the other, and two side panels representing the fronts of two flour-bins located one on each side of the said drawer, two side nieces located between the upper and lower portions of the cabinet, said side pieces having their front edges curved, substantially as hereinbcfore set forth.

Having thus described and illustrated my invention, what I claim as new, and desire to secure by Letters Patent, is
