Be it known that I, LUCIE ARVILLA GRA- HAM, a citizen of the United States. residing at New York, in the county of New York, State of New York, have invented a certain new and original Design for Skirt-Supporters,of which the following is a description, reference being had to the accompanying drawings and to the letters of reference marked thereon.
My invention relates to a new and original design for skirt and waist supporters; and the leading feature consists in a skirt and waist supporter of the shape and configuration hereinafter described, and illustrated in the accompanying drawings, in which- Figure 1 is a front elevation, and Fig. 2 a side elevation, of a skirt and waist supporter embodying my design.
In the drawings, A represents a bar or plate provided with the longitudinal taperingopeniugs a, the central solid body portion 1:, the round openings 0 at the ends, and the downwardly-extending arms d. Projecting upwardly from about the central point of the bar A is a lug or car e, which is enlarged at its upper end and connected with the body of the bar by the curved portions f.
The leading feature of my design consists in the bar or plate A, having the upwardlyprojecting lug or plate 6 with the widened upper portion.
I claim The design for a skirt and waist supporter, substantially as shown and described.
