DESIGN FOR A BED-POST.
SPECIFICATION forming part Of Design NO. 30,376, dated March 21, 1899. Application filed Dec mber 19,1898- Serial N6. 6995770. Term of patent 14 years.
To all whom it may concern:
Be it known that I, JOEL I-I. GREENE, a citizen of the United States,residin g at Dubuque, in the county of Dubuque and State of Iowa, have invented a certain new and useful Design for Bed-Posts for Beds for the Sick; and I do hereby declare the following to be a full, clear, and exact description of the invention, such as will enable others skilled in the art to which it appertains to make and use the same.
My invention has relation to designs in bedposts for beds for the sick; and its essential features consist in a standard for supporting the sides of the bed, from the top of which extends upward a rod of smaller dimensions having at or near the top projecting hooks.
The novelty of my design will be fully understood by reference to the following specification and the drawing accompanying the 26 the same and forming a part hereof.
The figure is a perspective of my invention.
Like letters of reference denote correspond ing parts in the drawing.
Referring to the drawing, A represents the standard, to the base of which is a caster B. From the top of the standard A projects upward a rod D of smaller dimensions than the standard A. Near the top of the rod D are books 01, projecting out from the rod. To the top of the standard is placed a head G.
Having now described my invention, what I claim, and desire to secure by Letters Patout, is-
