OSCAR E. A. \VIESSNER, OF BROOKLYN, NElV YORK.
DESIGN FOR A BEDSTEAD.
SPECIFICATION forming part of Design No. 24,152, dated March 26, 1895.
Application filed January 2, 1395. Serial No. 533,633. Term of patent 7 years.
To all whom, it may concern.-
Be it known that I, OSCAR E. A. WIEssNER, a citizen of the United States, residing at South Brooklyn, in the county of Kings and State of New York, have invented and produced a new and original Design for Bedsteads; and I do hereby declare the following to be a full, clear, and exact description of the same, reference being had to the accompanying drawing, forming a part thereof.
The drawing represents a perspective view of a bedstead exhibiting my design.
The leading feature of my design consists of two vertical side posts a, (1 provided at their upper ends with ball or ring finials a a. The said posts are connected by a cross rail or bar a which is curved or arched upward at its center to form a spire or loop a which terminates in aball or ring finial a, as shown.
This design may be used separately for the .20
head portion or for the foot portion of a bedstead, or the head and foot portions may be combined into one bedstead.
The central field a may be filled in with any suitable configuration without affecting my design, the essential feature of which is the top or crowning portion as just described.
That I claim as my invention is- The design for a bedstead, substantially as shown and described.
