DESIGN FOR A CREST-TILE.
SPECIFICATION forming part of Design No. 25,052, dated January 14, 1896.
Application filed December 7,1895. Serial No. 571,441. Term of patent 7 years.
To all whom it may C'UILCO/IL.
Be it known that I, JAMES It. Bavaxr, a citizen of the ITnited States, residing at Crawfordsville, in the county of Montgomerv and State of Indiana, have invented a new and riginal Design for a Crest-Tile, of which the .ollowing is a specification.
This invent ion relates to a new and original design for a crest-tile, and it has for its object to provide a design of this character that shall be both useful and ornamental.
The leading feature of the design resides in a crest-tile provided in its main body portion with a longitudinal series of multifoil figures and a pair of vertieally-aligncd circular and star-shaped figures alternating with the multifoil figures.
A minor feature of the design resides in a cylindrical-shaped figure arranged longitudinally at the upper edge of the main vertical body portion of the crest-tile.
In the drawings, Figure is a side elevation of a portion of a crest-tile embodying the he rein-described design. Fig. 2 is a transverse sectional View thereof.
Referring to the accompanying drawings, 1 designates the main vertical body portion of a crest-tile provided at its lower edge with an inverted-V-shaped base portion 2 and at its upper edge with a longitudinal cylindrieallyshaped figure 3.
The vertical body portion l of the tile is provided with a longitudinal series of multifoil figures t and a pair of vertieally-aligned circular and star-shaped figures and U, respectively alternating with the said multit'oil figures 4.
\Vhat I claim is- The design for a crest -tile herein shown and described.
