DESIGN FOR A LlGHT-FOUNT.

SPECIFICATION forming part of Design No. 30,083, dated January 31, 1899. Application filed December 27, 1898- Serial No. 700,454- Term of patent '7 years.

Be it known that I, LEROY S. BUFEINGTON, a citizen of the United States, residing at Minneapolis, county of Hennepiu, State of Minnesota, have invented and produced a new and original Design for a Light-Fount, of which the following is a specification, reference being had to the accompanying drawings, wherein Figure 1 is a side elevation, Fig. 2 is a central vertical section, and Fig. 3 is a front elevation, of a light-fouut embodying my design.

By reference to the drawings it will be seen that the body of the light-fount is of concavoconvex form and that a nipple-like projection having the appearance of a gas-burner projects from said body of the light-fount on the axis thereof and into its concavity. IVhen the concave surface of the light fount is Viewed di rcctly from the front, the nipple-like projection appears projecting directly toward the observer and at the center of the concavity.

In a companion application for a design patent filed of even date herewith and entitled Design fora lamp-body I have shown and claimed a design for a lam p-bod y embodying as a feature the lightfount herein illustrated and claimed.
