DESIGN FOR A GAM E-BOARD.
SPECIFICATION forming part of Design No. 29,998, dated January 10, 1899.

Be it known that I, J AMEs II. FUERTES, a citizen of the United States, residing in the borough of Brooklyn, city of New York, county of Kings, State of New York, have invented and produced a new and original Design for Gaine-Boards, of which the following is a specification, reference being had to the accompanying drawings, forming part thereof, in which Figure l is a plan View of my newly=de signed game-board, and Fig. 2 a longitudinal section thereof.
The leading or material features of my design consist of a rectangular board A, which is smooth on its upper surface and provided at one side thereof with a picture or map of a part of a coast-line, the chief features of said picture or map being a harbor, as shown at B, the fortifications at the entrance to said harbor, (shown at (1,) the general coast-line and the principal towns and cities of said harbor and coast-line, (designated at 1).) In front of Said harbor and coast-line and forming part of my design is a rectangular space E, divided by horizontal and transverse lines F and G, respectively, into rectangular spaces or blocks II, the alternate diagonal rows of which are divided by diagonal lines K and L, which cross each other at right angles, and the rectangular space E, divided as described, is inclosed at the ends and the side opposite the picture or inap by an open or clear space M, which extends entirely around the space E.
This design is a single unitary or one-piece game-board and is sectionally rectangular.
Having fully described my invention, I claim as new and desire to secure by Letters Patent- The design for a game-board as herein shown and described.
