DESIGN FOR A PATTERN-CHART.
SPECIFICATION formin part of Design No. 29,597, dated November 1, 1898. Application filed September 21, 1898. Serial No. 691,582. Term of patent 1 2 years.
To all whom, it may concern:
Be it known that I, J AMES MARSDEN, a subject of the Queen of Great Britain, residing in Wigan,in the county of Lancaster, England, have invented and produced a new and original Design for a Pattern-Chart, of which the following is a specification, reference being had to the accompanying drawing, forming a part thereof.
The drawing is a plan view of a patternchart, showing my new design.
As shown in the drawing, the leading or material feature of my design consists of a pattern-chart having represented thereon the novel arrangement of patterns for boys Perth jackets,vests, and trousers, as now described.
At one side of the pattern-chart is shown patch W, the under side of trousers B, the top side sleeve D, the vest fore parts T T, having pockets indicated at if t, the vest-facing L, the shoulder-facing J, the neck-piece G, top side of trousers A, having inlays a, the under side of trousers B, the shoulder-facing J, the inside-collar pieces H IT, and the neck-piece G. At the opposite side of the pattern-sheet is shown the jacket fore part F, having pockets indicated at f, the outside collar I, the jacket-back E, the under side sleeve 0, the jacket-facing O, the flap-pieces S S, the vest welts R R, the vest-facing L, the breast-welt Q,the Watch-welt P, j acket-facing O,trousers pocket facing M M M, vest-bottom facing N, top side sleeve D, the vest-facing L, trousersfly pieces K K, jacket fore part F, having pockets indicated at f, the jacket-back E, and outside collar 1.

The design for a pattern-chart substantially as herein shown and described.
