DESIGN FOR A PATTERN-CHART.
SPECIFICATION forming part of Design No; 29,600, dated November 1, 1898.
Application filed September 21,1898- Serial No. 691 ,565- Term of patent 14 years.
To all whom it may concern:
Be it known that I, JAMES MARSDEN, a subject of the Queen of Great Britain, residing in VVigan, in the county of'Lancaster, England, have invented and produced a new and origi* nal Design for a Pattern-0hart, of which the following is a specification, reference being had to the accompanying drawing, forming a part thereof.
The drawing is a plan View of a patternchart, showing my new design.
As shown in the drawing, the leading or material feature of my design consists of a pattern-chart having represented thereon the novel arrangement of patterns for collars, as now described.
Upon the pattern-chart is shown a number of rows of collars A A A, &c.,the rows of collars extending transversely of the pattern= chart, while the individual collars extend longitudinally of the pat-tern chart. The alternate transverse rows of collars are oppositely arranged, and the several rows are shown with the ends of the collars in close proximity.
Having thus described my invention, what I claim as new therein, and desire to secure by Letters Patent, is-
The design for a pattern-chart substantially as herein shown and described.
