DESIGN FOR A PATTERN-CHART.
SPECIFICATION forming part of Design No. 29,598, dated November 1, 1898.
Application filed September 21, 1898. Serial No. 691,563- Term of patent 14 years.
To all whom it may concern:
Be it known that 1, JAMES MARSDEN, a subject of the Queen of Great Britain, residing in Wigan, in the county of Lancaster, England, have invented and produced a new and original Design for a Pattern-Chart, of which the following is a specification, reference being had to the accompanying drawing, forming a part thereof.
The drawing is a plan View of a patternchart, showing my new design.
As shown in the drawing, the leading or material feature of my design consists of a pattern-chart having represented thereon the novel arrangement of patterns for boys sailor suits, as now described.
Along one side of the pattern-sheet is shown the jacket-facings L L L, the under side of trousers B B B, the top side of trousers A,
i the facings K, fly O, the sleeves E E, the fly 0, top side sleeve J', cuffs, G G G, sleeve E under side sleeve I, top side of trousers A, and pockets 1-1 H. At the opposite side of the pattern-sheet is shown the fore part and back of blouse D D D, facings K K K K K K, 25 the sleeve E, collars F F F, flies O O, cuff G, facing K, and top side of trousers A.
Having thus described my invention, what I claim as new therein, and desire to secure by Design Letters Patent, is-- 0 The design for a pattern-chart substantially as herein shown and described.
