Be it known that I, JAMES MARSDEN, a subject of the Queen of Great Britain and Ireland, and a resident of lVigan, in the county of Lancaster and Kingdom of England, have invented and produced a new and original Design for a Pattern-Chart, of which the following is a specification, reference being had to the accompanying drawing, forming a part thereof.

The drawing is a plan view of a pattern chart, showing my new design.

As shown in the drawing, the leading or material feature of my design consists in a pattern-chart having represented thereon the novel arrangement of patterns for a ladys costume composed of jacket, vest, and skirt, as now described. As shown, the patternchart has the skirt parts A, B, O, and D, the skirt-pocket E, the back side body F, the

front side body G, the skirt-pocket facing H, the top side sleeve H, the under side sleeve I, the jacket for part J, having inlays j, the jacket-facing K, the jacket-back L, having inlays Z, the waistband M, the outside collar N, the vest roll and facing O, the vest P, hav- R. K. CEooK.
