DESIGN FOR A PATTERN-CHART.
SPECIFICATION forming part of Design No. 29,200, dated August 9, 1898.
Application filed June 8, 1898. fierial No 682,957. Term of patent 14 years.
To (LU whom, it may concern.-
Be it known that I, JAMES MARSDEN, a subject of the Queen of Great Britain and Ireland, and a resident of W'igan, in the county of Lancaster, England, have invented and produced a new and original Design for a Pattern-Chart, of which the following is a specification, reference being had to the accompanying drawing, forming a part thereof.
The drawing is a plan view of a patternchart, showing my new design.
As shown in the drawing, the leading or material feature of my design consists in a pattern-chart having represented thereon the novel arrangements of patterns for a mans single-breasted morning coat and'vest, as now described. At one side of the patternchart is shown the under side sleeve A, having inlay a and marks (1 the top sleeve B, the coat fore part 0, having inlays 0, coatwaist c, and breasts, the neck-piece D, the
fore part facing E, the skirt F, having inlay f, the pocket-welts G H I, the side body N, having inlays n, and the outside collar J. At the other side of the pattern-chart is shown the inside collar K, the piece-up L for the fore part facing, the skirt-facing M, the back 0, having inlays 0, the vest fore part P, having button-stand p, and pockets 1), the vestfacings Q and R, and vest-bottom facing S.
Having thus described my invention, the following is what I claim as new therein and desire to secure by Letters Patent:
The design for a pattern-chart substantially as herein shown and described.
