\VILLIAM C. DANUM, OF FRANKLIN, LOUISIANA.
DESIGN FOR A STOVEPlPE-SECTION AND HOT-WATER TANK.
To to whom it may concern:
Be it known that I, WILLIAM C. DANUM, a citizen of the United States, residing at Franklin, in the parish of St. Mary and State of Louisiana, have invented and produced a new and original Design for a Stovepipe-Section and Hotater Tank; and I do hereby declare the following to be a full, clear, and exact description of the invention, such as will enable others skilled in the art to which it appertains to make and use the same.
The essential feature of my design for a Stovepipe-section and hot-water tank consists in the unitary article made the suject of illustration in the drawings, in which- Figure 1 represents a side elevation of a combined Stovepipe-section and hot-water tank embodying my design. Fig. 2 represents a top plan view, and Fig. 3 represents an inverted plan view, of the same.
My invention consists of a stovepipe-section and hot-Water tank comprising a cylindrical body A, having an annular head a, an annular bottom a, a hollow cylindrical sleeve B, extending from the central opening in the annular head a, and a shorter portion B of the same cylindrical sleeve extending in an opposite direction from the central opening of the annular bottom a"; an opening (1 in said annular head; an opening a in the said annular head; a conical body 0, having its smaller end coincident with the said opening a and having an inclined or sloping upper end a; a Hat circular disk 0, mounted upon said annular head at a short distance from it and in a plane parallel thereto; a body D, extending laterally and downwardly from the side of said cylindrical body near its bottom, and a triangular portion or figure D, having its shortest side resting upon the upper side of said body D and its perpendicular side resting against the side of said cylindrical body A. This triangular portion is rounded on the outside and forms a connection between the main cylindrical portion and the body D.
\Vhat I claim is The design for a Stovepipe-section and hotwater tank, substantially as herein described and shown.
