DESIGN FOR A CORN-CUTTER.
SPECIFICATION forming part of Design No. 28,810, dated June 7, 1898. Application filed April 8- ,374- Term of patent 14 years.
To all whom, it may concern:
Be it known that I, CHARLES HENRY SMITH, a citizen of the United States, residing at Park City, in the county of Yellowstone and State of Montana, have invented and produced a newand original Design for Corn-Cutters, of which the following is a specification, reference being bad to the accompanyingdrawings, which form a part thereof, and in which- Figure 1 is a side view of a corn-cutter, showing my new design; and Fig. 2 is an end View of the same.
The leading or material feature of my dehas a globular or spherical enlargement c at its rear end. The flat portion a is at an acute angle with relation to the longitudinal members 0. The flat portion a is of an approximately semicircular outlinc, having no straight sides except its bottom edge. In contour the segmental or rounded top edge a extends in a continuous curved line from the top portion b downwardly to the bottom edge a the lower corner of said continuous curve being turned inwardly to form the curved lower corner 0..
Having described my invention, I claim as new and desire to secure by Letters Patent The design for acorn-cutter, substantially as herein shown and described.
In testimony that I claim the foregoing as my invention I have signed my name, in presence of the subscribing witnesses, this 1st day of April, 1898.
