DESIGN FOR A SPOON.
SPECIFICATION forming part of Design No. 28,719, dated May 31, 1898.
Application filed April 16, 1898. Serial No. 677,894. Term of patent 7 years.

Ile it known that I, EDWARD TODD, Jr., a citizen of the United States, residing at New York, in the county of New York and State 5 of New York, have invented and produced a new and original Design for Spoons; and l do hereby declare the following to be a full,elear, and exact description of the same, reference being had to the accompanying drawings,

The leading or material features of my design consist in a bowl havingacertain shape and ornamentation, as hereinafter set forth.
The bowl has an oval shape, being bluntly pointed at one end and provided at the other end with a rounded lng, through which passes the end of the handle. The inner surface of the bowl is decorated with a representation in relief of a birch-bark Canoe floating on water which is wave-broken. A paddle lies along the thwarts of the canoe.
Having thus described my design, what I claim isrlhe design for a spoon, substantially as herein shown and described.
