SPECIFICATION forming part of Design No. 27,972, dated December '7, 1897.
Application filed November 1,1897. Serial No. 657,106- Term of patent 14 years.
To rail wh m, it may concern Ile it known that I, HENRY F. BELCHER, a citizen of the United States, residing at Chicago, in the county of Cook and State of Illinois, have invented a certain new and original Design for Prism-Lights, of which the follow ing is a specification.
My invention relates to designs for prismlights.
Figure 1 is a plan view of a prisn1-1ight embodying my design. Fig. 2 is a cross-section therethrough.
A is the body of the prism-light; B, one side thereof; 0 O, a series of fractured prisms on the other side thereof, and D D indicate the somewhat irregularly bordered, recessed, or hollowed-out surfaces formed upon such fractured prisms. The Work is called tracto- Work.
The essential features of my design are found in a prism-light comprising a substantially flat thin body with a series of prisms wholly mutilated or fractured, so as to present regulariy-disiributed rows of irregularly bordered, recessed, or hollowed-out surfaces, as shown.
I claim A design for a prisnriight, substantially as shown and described.
