D25-106 EX DESIGN.
P. L. WRIGHT.
PRISM PLATE.
N0. 27 998. Patented Dec. 7 1897.
UNITED STATES PATENT OFFICE.
FRANK L. VVRIGI'IT, OF CHICAGO, ILLINOIS, ASSIGNOR TO THE LUXFER PRISM PATENTS COMPANY, OF SAME PLACE.
DESIGN FOR A PRISM-PLATE.
SPECIFICATION forming part of Design No. 27,998, dated December 7, 1897. Application filed October 23,1897- Serial No. 656,226. Term of patent 14 years.
To all 10/2/0111 it may concern.-
Be it known that I, FRANK L. WRIGHT, a citizen of the United States, residing at Chicago, in the county of Cook and State of Illinois, have invented a certain new and original Design for Prism-Plates, of which the fo1loW- ing is a description.
My invention relates to designs for prisinplates.
Figure 1 is a plan view of a prism-plate embodying my design. Fig. 2 is a section therethrough.
A is the body of the prism-plate.
B B are a series of surface areas substantially uniform in appearance and produced by the lines of separation C G, which cross the surface of the body of the plate. D D are prisms on the opposite side.
Upon the surface of the prism-plate and intermediate between its center and outer edge a group of areas forming an annulus are ornamented by means of the lines E E. These lines are produced on the surface of the prismplate.
The essential features of my design are found in a prism-plate consisting of a sub stan tially flat body with a series of prisms on one side and lines of separation on the other, which divide the surface into a series of substantially uniform surface areas, and an annulus formed on the surface intermediate between the center and the outer edge by means of lines of ornamentation.
I claim- A design for a prism-plate, substan t iaily as shown and described.
FRANK L. WRIGHT.
