DESIGN FOR A PRISM-PLATE.
SPECIFICATION forming part of Design No. 28,010, dated December '7, 1897.
Application filed October 23, 1397. Serial No. 656,235. Term of patent 14 years.
To all whom it may concern.-
Be it known that I, FRANK L. WRIGHT, a citizen of the United States, residing at Chicage, in the county of Cook and State of Illinois,have invented a certain new and original Design for Prism-Plates, of which the following is a description.
My invention relates to designs for prisinplates.
Figure l is a plan view of a prism-plate embodying my design. Fig. 2 is a cross-section therethrough with parts broken away and enlarged.
Ais the body of a prism-plate; B B, a series of surface areas on one side thereof formed by the lines of separation O C.
D D are a series of prisms on one side of the plate, and E E are prisms on certain of the surface areas grouped so as to form a sort of ring or hollow square intermediate between the center and an outer edge of the prismplate.
The essential features of my invention are found in the prism-plate, comprising a substantially flat extended body with a series of lines of separation on one side to divide the surface into a series of substantially uniform surface areas, a series of prisms on the other side, and prisms on certain of the surface areas arranged in a sort of hollow square intermediate between the center and edge.
I claim-- A design for a prism-plate, substantially as shown and described.
