DESIGN FOR A PRISM-LIGHT.

SPECIFICATION forming part of Design No. 27,970, dated December '7, 189'?.

Application filed November 1, 1897. Serial No. 657,104. Term of patent 14 years.

Be it known that I, HENRY F. BELCHER, a. Citizen of the United States, residing at Chicago, in the county of Cook and State of Illinois,have invented certain new and original Designs for Prism-Lights,of which the following is a specification.

My invention relates to designs for prismlights.

Figure l is a plan View of a prism-light embodying my invention. Fig. 2 is a cross-seetion therethrough.

A is the body of the prism-light; B, one side thereof; C, a series of prisms thereon; D D, a series of broken or chipped prisms.

As illustrated in the drawings, the fractu red or broken prisms present a series of somewhat regularly-distributed, but irregularly-bordered, recessed, or hollowed-out surfaces. The work is ealled Imate-work, and the appearance may be described as that of a series of rain-drops stretched along in regular rows.

The essential features of my design are found in a prism-light comprising a substantially fiat thin body with a series of mutilated prisms on one side thereof.

I claim- A design for a prism-light, substantially as shown and described.
