SPECIFICATION forming part of Design No. 27,678, dated September 21, 1897'. Application filed August 5, 1897. Serial No. 647,266- Term of patent 14 years.
To all whom it may mncern:
Be it known that I, Join: MEIuus EwnN, a citizen of the United States, residing at ()hieago, in the county of (look and State of Illinois, have invented and produced it new and original ornamental Design for Prisin- Lights, of which the following is a specification.
My invention relates to designs for prisinlights, and is illustrated in the neemnpnnying drawings, wherein Figure 1 is a perspeetive view of n prisinlight embodying my design. Fig. L) is it sec tion theretln'ongh.
Like letters indicate like parts in the two figures.
The prism-light A consists of a body of glass or the like bounded by the straight edge 1 and two curved edges C in the form of compound eurves. One surfnr-e of the prismlight is substantially smooth or plain, the other side being provided with a series of. prisms extending across the light.
I have shown certain angles, nrrnngemen is, and numbers of the prisms, but the essential feature oliny invention is a bodyofglnss having one straight edge and two curved edges, the curved edges being in the form of compound curves, the glass being provided on one side with a series 01 prisms extem'ling thereneross.
