DESIGN FOR A PRISM-PLATE.
SPECIFICATION forming part of Design No. 28,007, dated December 7, 1897.
Application filed O0tober,22,1897. Serial No. 6561100- Term of patent 14 years.
To all whom it may concern:
Be it known that I, FRANK L. \VRIGHT, a citizen of the United States, residing at Chicage, in the county of Cook and State of Illinois, have invented a certain new and useful Design for Prism-Plates, of which the following is a description.
My invention relates to designs for prismplates.
Figure 1 is a plan View of a prism-plate embodying, my design. Fig. 2 is a cross-section therethrough.
A is the body of the prism-plate. Q G are lines of separation across the face thereof, whereby it is divided into a series of substantially uniform surface areas. B B indicate such areas. D D are prisms on the other side of the plate.
E E are dots, projections, or parts of lines formed on the surface of the prism-plate and so as to produce ornaments thereon. They are arranged so as to produce the effect of broken, fragmentary, or interrupted lines.
The essential features of my design are found in a prism'plate comprising a substantially flat and extended body with a series of prisms on one side and on the other side lines of separation which divide such surface into a series of substantially uniform surface areas and ornaments or patterns produced on such surface by broken, interrupted, or fragmentary lines or forms, as shown.
I claim- A design for a prism-plate, substantially as shown and described.
FRANK L. W RIGHT.
