DESIGN FOR A RULER.
SPECIFICATION forming part of Design No. 24,792, dated October 29, 1895i Application filed September 23, 1895- Serial No. 563,442. Term of patent 14 years.
To all whom it may concern:
Be it known that I, NICHOLAS L. RIGBY, a citizen of the United States, residing at Los Angeles, in the county of Los Angeles and State of California, have invented and produced a new and original Design for Rulers, of which the following is a specification, reference being had to the accompanying drawings, which show the same.
Figure 1 is a plan View of a ruler embodying my design. Fig. 2 is an end View of such ruler.
A is a rectilinear body oblong in end elevation, and B is a, pyriform loop embracing one edge of the body and contacting at its edges 6 b with the body A on the opposite faces a a, of the body and bent outward from the body between its edges 1) b and the end a" of the loop.
The essential features of my new design for rulers are the body A, oblong in end elevation, and the loop B, arranged embracing one edge of the body.
What I claim is- The design for a ruler substantially as herein shown and described.
