DESIGN FOR A MOUNT FOR BEDSTEADS.
SPECIFICATION forming part of Design No. 27,600, dated August 31, 1897.
Application filed May 26,1897. Serial Ne. 638,312. Term of patent 14 years.
To all whom it nmy (3012001 12 Be it known that I, \VILLIAII K. PINE, a citizen of the United States, residing at Lochport, in the county of Niagara and State of New York, havein ven ted and prod need a new and original Design for a Mount forlledsteads, of which the followingis a specification, reference being had to the accompanying drawing, making a part thereof.
This design relates to a mount or top ornament for the end frames of metallic bedsteads.
The accompanying drawing is a perspee tive View of a mount embodying m y design.
The leading or essential feature of my design consists of upright shanks or pillars, each terminating in an overhanging head of approximately circular or scroll form, and an overhanging rail connecting said heads.
Referring to the drawing, A represents the shanks or pillars of the mount, which are ornamented with bands or moldings a a r0 At the curved upper end of each pillar A is the overhanging approximately circular head ll,
which is ornamented on its outer side with a rosette oraserics of raised bands or beads c of decreasingdiameter extending progressively one beyond th'e other, producing a scroll-like ornament 0r finial, as shown in the drawing.
This rosette terminates in a ball-like orna- J \VILLIAM K. PINE.
