DESIGN FOR A CLIP FOR COFFEE-POT STRAINERS.
SPECIFICATION forming part of Design No. 27,594, dated August 31, 1897.
Application filed July 13,1897- Serial No. 644,451. Term of atent 14 years.

Iie it known that I, Cums 1 DOWNEY, of \Vaterbury, in the eountyof NewIIaven and State of Connecticut, have invented a new Design for \Vire Clips for Strainers for Coffee-Pots, &e.; and I do hereby declare the following, when taken in connection with the accompanying drawings and the letters of reference marked thereon, to he a full, clear, and exact description of the same, and which said drawings constitute part of this specification, and represent, in
Figure 1, a perspective view of a clip embodying m 5' design and indicated as attached to a strainer; Fig. 2, a plan View of the clip.
This invention relates to a design for wire clips for strainers for coffee-pots or other vessels: and il ronsists in the configuration as hereinafter described, and shown in the accompanying illustrations.
The clip comprises two short ends (a u, forwardly-projecting loops I: b, and a reverselyturned curved tongue 0, all as shown in the accompanying illustrations.
I claim-- The design for a wire clip for strainers for coffee-pots &e., substantially as shown and described.
