DESIGN FOR A PENDING-WHEEL.

TO ALL WHOM I'I MAY CONCERN:

Be it known that I, CHARLES Kmcnrror, of Newark city, county of Essex, State of New Jersey, here invented a new and original shape and conlguration of the Pending-Wheel; and I dd hereby declare that the following is a. full, clear, and exact description of the same, reference being had to the accompanying drawings, and to the letters of reference marked thereon.

I will now describe my shape and configuration of the article.

I construct my wheel as shown by the section, Figure 3, so that the material towards the centre E may be lighter or thinner, and near the periphery P heavier and thicker, both sides A and B at-tho centre forming thus thc axes E, and the groove C is diverging and enlarging near and at the periphery I), so far :is not to permit any contact with the cord. I intend to use metal, or any other combination adapted to that configuration; for instance, the sides .A and B may be made of sheet metal with wire rings r r nt the periphery.

I ornament one face of said configuration with a. curved colored figure, as represented in Figure 5, and the other fece with a snake, :is represented in Figure 4, both being arranged t0 represent their different colors and positions.

Having now described my invention, I will now state what I desire to secure by Letters Patent, viz:

I claim the design for a pending-wheel, herein described and represented in figs. 3, 4, and 5.
